Hardwood from local woodlands, in-stock or sawn to order
We collect, process and air-dry hardwood from local, sustainably managed woodlands in the Dart Valley and surrounding area. Much of the hardwood we saw at the mill is stored ‘in stick’ and air-dried undercover at the woodyard. There is a large selection of stock timbers to choose from, including local oak, ash, sweet chestnut, cherry, elm, sycamore and yew. We can also source and cut hardwood to order if you need custom sizes for your project.
